Study on Moment-curvature Relationship of Corrosive Channel Steel Beams
The moment-curvature relationship curves of corrosive channel steel beams were carried out in this paper.Test results show that the height and span have great influence on the moment-curvature relationship curves.The moment-curvature relationship curves may be divided into two sections:the first section is the elastic stage,the yielding strains of flange are about 0.0018,and the second section is the yeilding and strengthening stage,the ultimate strains of flanges are about 0.01,the whole bending failure occurred under ultimate bearing capacity.According to the experimental study,a calculating method of moment-curvature relationship curves of corrosive channel steel beams were proposed based on the average thickness and corrosion degree.The proposed models reflect the characteristics of corrosive channel steel beams,whose calculating results agree well with experimental data.
