Solution Preparation and Electrochemistry Performance of LiFePO4/C Nanowires
Phase-pure LiFePO4/C nanowires have been synthesized by a facile,eco-friendly and economical solution preparation.The phase,structure,morphology and composition of the as-prepared products were characterized by XRD、SEM、XPS and EDS techniques,showing a olivine structure,carbon-coating,uniform nanowire-shape with a diameter of 80-150 nm and a length of several microns.Galvanostatic charge-discharge tests showed that the LiFePO4/C nanowires heat-treated at the temperatures of 300,400 and 500 ℃ all have well electrochemical performances.The LiFePO4/C nanowires heat-treated at 400 ℃ showed preferable first discharge specific capacities of 161 mAh·g-1 obtained at 0.1 C-rate,while the voltage platforms was 3.4 V and the first discharge specific capacities of 93 mAh·g-1 obtained at 20 C.The LiFePO4/C nanowires heat-treated at 400 ℃ also showed a high stability with the specific capacity retention of 97.7 %after 50 cycles at 5 C-rate.
