Study of Electromagnetism Characteristics of Air Cylinder MR Sensor

  The simulation results of changes of magnetic flux density over distance between air cylinder built-in magnet and MR sensor are given by using ANSYS software.Gauss meter CTS27 is used to measure magnetic field of air cylinder.The comparison of simulation results and experimental data shows that the magnitude and variation tendency of magnetic flux density are in reasonable agreement.Anisotropic Magnetoresistive (AMR) effect and working principle of three-terminal of air cylinder MR sensor are presented.The electromagnetism characteristic of MR sensor is studied is to find how the resistance changes of MR sensor over magnetic flux density and distance to built-in magnet.The operation region of MR sensor is obtained.
