Study and Evaluate on Ultrasonic Nondestructive Testing System for Braze Quality of Turbine Guide Ring
The important status of guide ring in large power plants and its manufacturing methods were introduced.The advantage of manufacturing method that was the welding combined with electrolysis was discussed.In order to ensure the quality of guide ring,ultrasonic nondestructive testing (UNDT) was used.According to the morphology features of defects that may show up during brazing,the feasibility and reliability of UNDT was proved in theory and the corresponding water immersion focusing ultrasonic C-scan imaging inspection program was developed.According to the features of inspected images,the defects were segmented with the morphology image processing method based on area reconstruction and the combination ratio of brazing interface was got,at last the nondestructive evaluation of brazed quality was realized
