Micro-groove function and its modelling by roll forming on aluminium alloy sheet
In this paper,micro-groove belongs to the microstructure,the function of microstructure is introduced,and one of properties of resistant is quoted that is explain its function.The principle of roll forming microstructure is proposed,introduced several types of indenters that can be used on the roll.Based on the finite element method,the procedure of the roll is simulated with square pyramid indenter and length groove,displacement and interference of the microstructures each other were discussed by analyzing the strain and the element deformation,moreover,the rotation speed of the roll with microstructure is investigated,it can be drawn that the rotating speed and the distance of microstructures are affecting the qualities of rnicrostructure in the work piece,this conclusion is very important for rolling microstructure to improve forming process.
