Research on thermo-deformation and formability in the hot stamping of BR1500HS

In hot stamping operations the influence of process parameters on the properties of final part is fundamental in the design and optimisation of the forming process.Hot stamping process parameters were analyzed based on the combination of materials science.BR1500HS thermorheological strain data was measured by the Gleeble 1500 thermo-mechanical simulator.Rheological strain will decrease with the increase of deformation temperature,flow stress will increase with the increase of strain rate.The experimentl results were analyzed by SPSS analysis software and the main factors of temperature were obtained.Yield ratio was tested at different temperature by SANS CMT 5105 tensile test machine,while tensile tests,performed with quenching,provided flow stress data at different temperatures and strain rates,which is able to evaluate the material formability at different temperature.The material yield ratio value reaches the minimum between 900 ℃ and 950 ℃ and the material has good forming performance.Thus experimental datas lay a solid foundation for hot stamping process.
