Making Converter Gunning Materials from Magnesia-Chrome Brick Waste Used in Cement Rotary Kiln
This paper studies the harmless treatment of magnesia-chrome brick waste from cement rotary kiln and check concentration of hexavalent chromium by diphenylcarbohydrazide spectrophotometric method.Samples were buried in graphite through reduction method in order to decrease concentration of hexavalent chromium.Besides,Magnesia-Chrome brick of harmless treatment can conduct converter gunning and was added into samples with aggregate. Results indicate that concentration of hexavalent chromium is smallest when sintering temperature is 1000℃.Apparent porosity is loest, rupture strength, compression strength is highest when magnesia-chrome brick waste is 10%.
