Development of Runner Castable for Small and Medium-Size Blast Furnace
In this work,a new kind of Al2O3-SiC-C castables was developed.There are no asphalt and resin in the developed castables,and there are no toxic gases generated and no environmental pollution during the application.After the installation,only 3-5h is needed for castable to dry out.This process is more energy-saving and more environment-friendly compared to the traditional castables.The service life of the new castable is as good as that of the traditional castables.
