Influence of Dispersant on Water Reduction of Magnesia Based Castables
The influence of dispersants added in magnesia based castables on water reduction was discussed in this paper.The static dispersant (STPP,SHMP) and polymeric dispersant (PAAS) were chosen.The effect of static dispersant and polymeric dispersant was discussed,respectively.Then fluidity of castables and the dispersants work mechanism were discussed,too.And the influence of the combined use of these two kinds of dispersant was also studied.The results showed that the use of SHMP (0.05% addition in weight) and PAAS (0.15% addition in weight) simultaneouslyhas the best effect on water reduction.
