Research on Coating Adhering Performance of Chrome-free Basic Refractory

  The coating adhering performance of magnesia bricks used in burning zone of cement rotary kiln is a key index.The β-C2S in the coating will transform to γ-C2S and bring about 13.6% volume increase,resulting in the pulverization of coating.In this report,the coating adhering performance of magnesia bricks was studied by sandwich method in order to find out one additive which not only stabilizes the β-C2S in kiln brick coating,but also keeps high temperature property of basic refractories.The developed basic refractory,without Cr2O3,is an excellent material to replace DMC brick.
