Preparation of Ca-α/β-sialon powders by reaction nitridation method

摘要：

　　The phase composition and microstructure of Ca-α/β-Sialon prepared from Si,Al,CaCO3 and Al2O3 by reaction nitridation method were studied.The prepared Ca-α/β-Sialon powders were characterized by scanning electron microscopy,energy dispersive X-ray spectrometer and X-ray diffraction.The results show that Ca-α/β-Sialon can be prepared at 1550℃ for 8-20 hours,and that the additive of Y2O3 is more effective for promoting the preparation of Ca-α/β-Sialon than Fe2O3.The formation process of Ca-α/β-Sialon by reaction nitridation method can be divided into three stages:nitridation of metal powders,formation of β-Sialon and the liquid phase,precipitation of α-Sialon associated with the dissolution of β-Sialon.
