Research on Synthesis of Bauxite-Based Sialon
Bauxite-based Sialon prepared by high temperature reduction-nitridation method using C,Al and Si as reducing agents has been reviewed.The reaction processes in synthesizing bauxite-based Sialon in N2 atmosphere at elevated temperature using C,AI and Si as reducing agents and the effects of Fe2O3 and TiO2 addition on formation of bauxite-based Sialon have been discussed.
