Research and Development of Earthquake Emergency Exercise
Frequent natural disasters and sudden crises will bring huge impact to human lives.The accurate and efficient emergency response at the first time is the key factor to reduce disaster losses and deaths.However,the emergency decision-makers sometimes cannot give the emergency response because of many reasons.In order to improve emergency response capacity of natural disasters,governments carry out a large number of emergency exercises every year,to improve the existing emergency plan,and exercise-related emergency management team.This paper describes the basic concepts of emergency exercises,and analyzes the current status and characteristics of the emergency exercises at home and abroad.With experience of many years,it points out the shortcomings and problems in the emergency exercise,and proposes the further research direction.In this paper,with the rich on-site emergency experiences of National Earthquake Response Support Service on-site emergency experience,and the research results of JICA,the author designs a plan for earthquake emergency exercise platform.It is developed by virtual reality and GIS technology.This article has a certain theoretical and practical reference value for understanding the basics of earthquake emergency exercises,development in the world,and the further research.
