Simulation on Evacuation from the Subway Station under Fire Smoke

  The subway station is the public crowded with the passengers.Be different from other buildings,there are no window open to the outside in the station,thereby the fire will increase rapidly and the smoke and heat cant be discharged once the station catches fire.Meanwhile,due to the egresses are limited and the direction of the flow of the evacuees is the same as that of the smoke,the passages are often in trouble with the evacuation.A great deal of the cases indicates that the fire smoke and the useless evacuation is the main cause of the casualty of the subway.The article simulations on the flow of the smoke and the behavior of the occupants in the evacuation from the subway station with the combination of CFAST and building EXODUS software,and the research can provide a scientific method to the safety evaluation.
