The Study of Parallel Processing for Large-scale Fault Tree

  Fault Tree is a commonly used method to analyze the reliability of a system.However,the increasing of the size and complexity of the system brings a greater challenge to the analysis based on Fault Tree.In this paper,we present an idea that is to use parallel processing to analyze a large-scale fault tree.Firstly,two models for parallel processing come up,and we focus on the parallel processing algorithm based on the cut sets.Then,the speedup is studied,and we deduce its value interval.Compare with the serial algorithm,the results of the experiment shows that the efficiency has been greatly improved.
