Analysis and Countermeasure Research on Geological Environment Problems of Guanzhong Urban Agglomeration
With the rapid development of industrialization and urbanization,some urban geological environment problems are becoming more and more serious.It has severely influenced the sustainable development of Guanzhong urban agglomeration.This paper analyzed systematically the main urban geological environment problems of Guanzhong urban agglomeration,including land subsidence,ground fissures,active faults and earthquakes,landslide,collapse and debris flow hazards,loess collapsibility,groundwater resources shortage and pollution,etc.Land subsidence and ground fissures are the major urban geological environment problems which seriously influenced the construction of Big Xian city.For those problems,we propose that further work involving engineering geological survey,hydrogeology survey,geological resources survey,geological hazards investigation and risk assessment should be carried out in the area of Guanzhong basin.Furthermore,the geological environment monitoring network should be established and improved in order to prevent deterioration of geological environment in Guanzhong basin.
