The Development of Low-Carbon Economy for Realizing Urban Sustainable Development:Taking the Example of Baotou

　　As the urban new developing strategy and mode,low-carbon economy meets the requirements for the sustainable development in the urban area.On the basis of development analysis for the low-carbon economy home and abroad,this paper illustrates the challenges that urban area meets in the process of low-carbon economy and sustainable development by taking the example of Baotou,as well as making proposals and suggestions accordingly.
