Research of moving table with aluminum foam-filled structure
In order to explore the changes of static and dynamic characteristics of machine tool components in which aluminum foam material was used,the characteristics of the prototype table and filled structure one was analyzed by ANSYS.It is shown that static and dynamic characteristics of machine tool can be improved by using aluminum foam-filled Structure.Compared with cast iron material,the inherent frequency of table with aluminum foam-filled structure significantly improved,resonant response amplitude has decreased.It was accord with the requirements in the lightweight and high dynamic performance under the condition of ultra-high speed processing.In order to meet the requirements for lightweight and higher performance of static and dynamic characteristics of machine tool moving parts under the ultra-high speed manufacturing,research of new material and new structure of moving table becomes an important topic 1,2.Based on the respective advantages of cast iron as a traditional material used commonly by machine and aluminum foam as a type of new structure function material,make them united cleverly to form a reasonable composite structure for make up the machine table,it can bring new breakthrough in improving performance of static and dynamic characteristics,lightweight of machine tool and so on 1-5.Reference 3 have researched on the moving table with aluminum foam sandwich structure,certified the advantage and feasibility of that table.Next,moving table with aluminum foam-filled structure will to be researched further by the structural design,performance of static and dynamic characteristics and lightweight so on,in order to verify the feasibility and superiority of filled structure table as a moving table under the ultra-high speed processing.And provide the reference to the design and manufacture of table with aluminum foam composite structure.
