Design and Simulate the Wedge Rope Locking Mechanism on the Basis of ANSYS
Comparing to the common locking mechanisms,this paper designs a new type of rope locking device which applies the wedge self-locking principle and hydraulic force-amplifying mechanism.The dynamic simulation research on the locking rope device with the usage of the ANSYS/IS-DYNA,and the simulation shows that the locking rope device can realize the self-lock of the first rope; the force-amplifying mechanism can effectively improve the security and stability of the rope locking,and reduce the abrasion of the first rope.Meanwhile,the simulation results provide a theoretical basis for the design of the locking rope mechanism.
