Relationship of Several Fabric Style Indexes and Active Rate
The active rate,a feeling norm,was used to represent fabric dynamic activity.The relationship between active rate and fabric style indexes was explored.16 experimental samples were selected and tested their indexes of waviness number,coefficient of draping form,asymmetric degree of draping,variance of waviness width,variance of wave spacing,fabric weight,bending stiffness of warp,weft and inclined yams,shear rigidity,fabric thickness,etc,respectively.By means of SPSS data analysis software,the relevant situation between each of these indexes and active rate was analyzed.The results displayed that 5 indexes has a great correlation with active rate.They are waviness number,coefficient of draping form,bending stiffness of warp,shear rigidity,and fabric thickness.And then the quantitative relationship between each of these indexes and active rate was set up.Therefore,as long as one of the five indexes is tested,the fabric dynamic activity can be generally speculated.
