Using Even Optimization Method in Assessing Air Quality of Vinh Phuc Province, Vietnam

  In general,to assess the environmental state,we have to monitor many parameters and make table,graphs,and maps to display the monitored results.In simple eases,when the number of monitored parameters is not much we can compare the environmental quality at different locations.But in fact,we often have to monitor many parameters at the same time in order to evaluate the general environmental quality.In these cases,it is difficult to compare the general environmental quality between monitoring areas.To solve that problem,the authors using even optimization method to generate an integrate environmental index (IEI) and open sources GIS programs to generate that picture.For demonstration,the authors using the monitored data of air quality,including TSP,PM10,SO2,NOx,CO of Vinh Phuc province in 2011 to assesses and compare the air quality at different monitored areas by even optimization method and GIS technique to generate integrate air quality maps with a clearly look in air quality of Vinh Phuc.Beside the advantage of not depend on the environmental standards (similar to optimization methods that have been introduced by the authors in the lat few years) this method can also be applied for in-qualitative parameters and can he applied in environmental study.
