Ferric Salts and Anionic PAM Synergistic Conditioning Sludge
In recent years there have been the methods of chemical modification of sludge in order to further dehydration and volume reduction, some of them modified method were used for the actual sludge treatment. The methods like ferric chloride, polyvinyl alcohol and anionic polyacrylamide were chosen for sludge dewatering performance. The experimental results showed that the coordinated use of ferric chloride and anionic PAM to 5∶1,the dehydration effect is better than that of the other three reagents used alone. When the composite chemicals applied was 1% of the treated sludge in dry mass, the water content of sludge reduced from 81.5% to 71.2%.
