Effects of Solid Content on Performance of Microbial Fuel Cell Using Organic Waste
Tests of organic waste treatment by two-chamber microbial fuel cells(MFCs) were conducted to compare performance ofCODer,TOC removal and power generation under different solid content. The experiment results showed that when the solid contentwas 14%,the maximum power density was 246mW/m2,the average voltage was 505mV.The solid content increased or decreased, the output power density reduced accordingly. The removal rate of CODcr and TOC were respectively up to 80.5% and 32.4%.
