Morphology Controllable Synthesis and Characterization of CuO Microstructures
Various CuO microstructures (willow-leaf-like,corn-leaf-like,bow-tie-like,fish-scale-like,ball-flower-like) were controllably synthesized by a green and eco-friendly microwave-assisted chemical route. The products were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD),field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM),high resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM).The experimental results demonstrated that the morphology of CuO products could be controlled by varying the concentration of NaOH and microwave irradiating time. The growth mechanism of CuO microstructures was simply discussed.
