Spatial and Temporal Changes of Emerging Environmental Pollution Accidents and Impact Factors in Anhui
Based on environmental statistics data from 2000 to 2010,spatial and temporal changes of emerging environmental pollution accident and their external causes were analyzed by using GIS and non-parametric correlation methods. The result showed that annual environmental pollution accidents were maximally 68 times in 2000 and 2003 and minimally 8 times in 2006,while the frequency decreased in general. In addition, water and air accidents occupied the most.Environmental pollution and destruction accidents centralized along the Yangtze River in Anhui, mainly in Maanshan,Wuhu,Tongling and Chaohu.Industrial waste air discharge had negative impact on frequency of environmental pollution and destruction accidents.
