Thermodynamics Study of Adsorption of 4-Chiorophenpls on Organic Modified Palygorskite
The adsorption thermodynamic characteristics of organic modified palygorskite adsorbing 4-chorophenpls in the range of 288-318K were investigated.Results showed that the adsorption equilibrium data of three kinds of samples adsorbing 4-ehlorophenpls can match the adsorption isotherm equation well.Organic modified palygorskite will have a better adsorption capacity by the model of Langmuir.Based on the mathematical model,the adsorption enthalpy increment of organic modified palygorskite adsorbing 4-Chlorophenpls is-ll.55KJ/moL,which is an exothermic process.The value of flee energy of organic modified palygorskite adsorbing 4-ehorophenples is negative which indicated that it could be a spontaneous physicoehemical process.Organic modified palygorskite adsorbing 4-chorophenples is an entropy increase process.
