Toxicity and Detection Methods of Microcystins in Aquatic Environment

  Massive cyanobacterial water blooms and production of microcystins have become a worldwide problem.With high frequency of the harmful algal bloom and their apparent global increasing,microcystins can be produced by the bloom-forming Cyanophyta microcystis in entrophic freshwater body,and have been becoming potential hazardous material in aquatic environments for its toxicity,distribution and stability.Based on the internal and overseas research situation,the research development of microcystins in characters,toxicity and several kinds of analyzing and detecting methods about microcystins,the development trend of microcystins detection was proposed.
