The Coordinated Development of Inland Shipping and Comprehensive Transportation System
Inland shipping is the important component of the comprehensive transportation system and has made great contributions to the rise and development of the national economy.However,since the reform and opening up in China,the inland shipping development has not actually displayed the state suitable for the high growth of national economy.The role in comprehensive transportation system of inland shipping is weakened seriously.In this paper,the Hunan Xiangjiang River is the object of study for the empirical.Xiangjiang River is the key position of the port in the coordinating development between the inland water transport and integrated transport system and boosting the role of basin economy.The port is not only a core strategic resource of basin economy,but also an important strategic node of the coordinating development between the inland water transport and integrated transport system.
