Well-being and Economic Growth:Perspective in Environmental Governance

　　Over the decades,environmental issues have become priorities on the policy agendas.It is widely acknowledged that our environment is in grave trouble over the course of industrial economic development.However,behind economic growth,more interconnected factors were directly tied to environmental crisis.This article is aimed to examine closely the relationship between economic growth and dimensions of the way of life so as to bring one additional perspective into the account in improving environmental governance.The major findings and policy implications out of the primarily theoretical discussions are to shed new lights into our understanding on issues in protecting and governing environment,yet maintaining the priority of fostering economic growth.
