Research on Public Participation in Marine Environmental Protection in China
The ocean is a treasure house of human resources,but exploitation and utilization of marine resources forces people to have to focus on the protection of the marine environment.Under the guidance of ecological environment,strengthening the efforts of public participation in marine environmental protection,it is not only favorable for improving environmental protection and management,and is in line with Chinas national conditions and international practice.As for the lack of awareness of public participation,the relatively limited scope of public participation,and the single way of public participation,there still exists a gap in comparison with that of the developed countries in the world.Publicity and education were strengthened to cultivate the public participation consciousness.The law system should be improved to expand the scope of public participation and the evaluation system should be established to improve public participation.
