Preparation and Photo-Catalysis Properties of Fe3O4/TiO2 Nanocomposite

  As a kind of most common used photo-catalyst,TiO2 nanomaterials exist disadvantages on low light energy utilization in visible light range and difficulty on recycle.In our study,different proportions of Fe3+ and Fe2+ ion were doped with nano-TiO2 particles in structure of rutile type through method of chemical precipitation.The result showed that the average size of the composite particles was nearly 20nm.The photo-catalyst performance of the composite have been improved and the relatively optimized preparation conditions were presented.
