Study on the Pressureless Sintering and Properties of (K0.5Na0.5)1-xLixNb1-yTayO3 Lead-free Piezoelectric Ceramics

  (K0.5Na0.5)1-xLixNb1-yTayO3 powders were synthesized by solid phase method,(K0.5Na0.5)0.96Li0.04Nb0.90Ta0.10O3 and K0.5Na0.5NbO3 lead-free piezoelectric ceramics were fabricated by the pressureless sintering.The results showed that (K0.5Na0.5)0.96Li0.04Nb0.90Ta0.10O3 lead-free piezoelectric ceramics were the pure perovskite structures,the doping of Li+ and Ta5+ could make the lead-free piezoelectric ceramic phase transform from the orthogonal phase area to two phase coexisting area of the tetragoanal phase and orthogonal phase,the ceramic sintering temperature was decreased by 25 ~ 50 ℃,there was a lamellar cleavage layer between the as-prepared ceramic crystals and also appeared the parison of the texturization; (K0.5Na0.5)0.96Li0.04Nb0.90Ta0.10O3 lead-free piezoelectric ceramics had the better piezoelectric properties than K0.5Na0.5NbO3 piezoelectric ceramics,(K0.5Na0.5)0.96Li0.04 Nb0.90Ta0.10O3 lead-free piezoelectric ceramics sintered at 1025 ℃ had the following piezoelectric properties:d33 =133 pC/N,kp =0.331,tanδ =0.2,εr =411 and Qm =33.16.
