Preparation and Friction Feature of TiAl-based Wear-resisting Self-lubricating Composite
In this paper,TiAl intermetallic compound superfine powder is prepared through mechanical alloying and heat treatment,of which the content of TiA1 intermetallic compound may reach 95%,and TiAl-based wear-resisting composite are obtained via hot-press sintering process and addition of solid lubricant, furthermore the preparation process, microstructure and friction and wear property of TiAl-based wear-resisting composite are studied. The experimental results show, the solid lubricant in the composite is stable and doesnt react with components of TiAl-based materials. The friction coefficient of the composite will gradually decrease with the increase of the amount of solid lubricant CaF2+BaF2,and the minimum value 0.386 will appear when amount of addition is 15%,where the adhesive wear of materials decreases. When the amount of the addition is 15%,the wear rate is up to the lowest, but itll increase instead in case that the amount of addition is more than 15%.
