Research on Sewage Treatment by Bio-trickling Filter Packed with Volcanics

　　According to the principle of energy saving and low cost,an open Biotrickling filter,filled with different stuffing,has been designed.It is capable of ventilating naturally and no backwashing.In order to highlight the superiority of volcanics,bio-ceramic and ceramic Pall ring are experimented as control group.The results suggest that volcanics perform better than the other two stuffs,as beth removal efficiency of COD and NH3-N can reach as high as 85%.While removal efficiency of TN and TP are only 50%,which are needed further advancing.
