CO2,Energy Resource Exploitation and Environmental Protection
In modern society,the development of industry and activities of mankind make the greenhouse effect gradually increase.To take the approach of developing (new) energy resources while at the same time protecting the global environment will be a win-win situation for all.In this paper,firstly,we summarize the three applications of carbon dioxide in enhancing oil recovery (EOR),coal-bed methane (CBM) and gas hydrate exploitation from the view of their reaction mechanisms,exploitation patterns and so on.Next,we make an estimate of these applications from the perspective of environmental protection.Integrative technique,considering carbon dioxide s high efficiency use combined with its geologic storage,is an effective way 1o alleviate environment pollution.
