Germanium and Gallium in Coal of China

摘要：

　　The elements Ge and Ga are the useful elements in coal.The abundance of Ge in the coal of China ranges from 0.5 to 10 mg/kg with an average of 4 mg/kg,and for the element of Ga.,1 to 20 mg/kg in abundance with an average value of 9 mg/kg.In Lincang coal basin some coal samples with the value up to or higher than 3 000 mg/kg were found.The abundance of Ga lies from 1 to 20 mg/kg,and the average is 9 mg/kg.Most of Ge and Ga in this area combine with the organic or adsorbe in the organic matters in coal.The brown coals of Sheng Li coal mine in Inner-Mongolia contain 135 to 1530 mg/kg,and the total reserve reaches 3431 tons in this mine.This kind of coal-Ge deposit in InnerMongolia is being studied and shows very bright prospects.
