Preparation of Molybdates with Antibacterial Property

摘要：

　　A series of molybdates,Ag2Mo2O7 and AMoO4 (A =Zn,Co),were prepared as a new type of inorganic antibacterial agent via wet chemical routes including hydrothermal synthesis and coprecipitation reaction.The structure and morphology of the samples were characterized with X-ray diffraction and scanning electron microscopy.The anti-bacterial properties of the molybdates against Escherichia coli and staphylococcus aureus were examined,showing good antibacterial behavior.
