The Effect of Amplitude-Phase Errors on Sidelobe Level in Linear Array

  The sidelobe level is one of the most important technologic target in antenna design.The lower sidelobe can not only weaken the effect of impure wave??but also improve the anti-jamming ability of radar.However ?? Amplitude-Phase errors on antenna aperture distribution is one of the most primary factors in realizing low or ultra-low sidelobe antenna.According with statistic theory,the paper analyzes the effect of Amplitude-Phase errors on patterns sidelobe area of linear array.Then we apply MATLAB to get the sidelobe level distribution characteristic of uniform on different Amplitude-Phase errors.Finally,we simulate to obtain the effect of appointed Amplitude-Phase errors on Taylor linear array with different designing.The results are consist with the theoretic calculation.
