Virtual Audition Technology for Head-mounted Electronic Sentinel System
Based on the engineering application of virtual audition in head-mounted electronic sentinel localization systems,the total response of a uniform circular array (UCA) with a rigid sphere and an impedance sphere is analyzed.The influence of offset between the UCA and the rigid sphere on the array received signals is studied.Eigenbeam beamforming is deduced in the eigenbeam space derived from the soundfield decomposition.Head related transfer function (HRTF) for the sound wave direction are synthesized automatically from measure database by combining the directivity of the eigenbeam beamforming and the algebraic expression of HRTF.This HRTF synthesis method is implemented in time domain by preprocessing the array received signals.The validity of the proposed algorithm is verified by computer simulations.
