Durability of dye-sensitized solar cells with a zinc porphyrin with an electron-donating group
We examined durability of the dye-sensitized solar cells (DSCs) with a zinc donor-porphyrin dye using ionic liquid (IL) electrolyte.The small solar cells using IL electrolyte with or without guanidine thiocyanate (GuSCN) were fabricated and the durability tests were performed under 1 sun light irradiation at 60 ℃ for nearly 2400 hours.We found that the DSCs with a zinc donor-porphyrin dye using IL electrolyte were relatively stable and the durability was improved by adding GuSCN into the electrolyte.
