The Generation Performance Comparison of Solar Cells
The power generation data of 9 PV systems are collected and analyzed from October 2010 to December 2011 in Guangzhou area.These systems are composed of a-Si,p-Si,m-Si,CIGS and CdTe solar cells,and two results are shown in this paper.First,the performances of different modules in 9 PV systems are compared objectively based on the collected power generation data.The results indicate that all these annual power generation of PV arrays is over 1000kWh/kWp.The top three systems are all made up of thin film solar cell modules,and the largest power capacity is about 1138.4kWh/kWp generated from a-Si modules.Secondly,the power generation performances of p-Si solar modules are analyzed.Three of nine systems are p-Si solar modules which have been used for 23 years in one communicate base in Hainan province,and are tested after simplicity in treatment.The collected data indicate that the three systems worked well and under nominal power of the factory,the power generation capacity of these three arrays is about 1056.6kWh/kWp in 2011.
