Thermal aspects of Sphelar(R) modules in different building integration mode

  In this study,we explore different geometric integration solutions (azimuth and elevation),using standard modules,polymeric prototype and a Sphelar(R) module.Objective is to determine the thermal sensitivity and energy yield of each module based on the different configuration of implementation in the building.An experimental approach is adopted to determine the levels of energy production and thermal sensitivity of all tested modules (samples).To achieve these aims,a dedicated experimental device is developed on our outdoor facilities.The first results show that Sphelar(R) have a level of energy performance above the average of all component tests.Despite thermal behavior characterized by a low heat exchange factor.
