3-D Finite Element Simulation for SAW Devices Measuring the Micro-torque of Implant
The stability of dental implants directly relates to the successful of dental implant.In this paper,the relationship between the resonant frequency of the SAW devices and torque under shear stress gradient field is given.Besides,the resonant frequency of SAW devices under shear stress gradient field is analyzed through three-dimensional finite element simulation with ANSYS software.The results show that the resonant frequency of the SAW devices and the maximum shear stress are in a linear relationship as well as the relationship between torque and resonance frequency of the SAW devices.Hence,the measurement of micro torque of the implant is theoretically feasible through SAW devices,consequently the stability detection of the implant can be achieved.
