Characterization of PM2.5 and Atmosphere Dust in Xining(China)
Samples for airborne PM2.5 and dustfall were collected at a surburban site of Xining China in May with relevant methods; Surface soils surrounding sample sites were obtained for comparation.In order to ensure the veracity of measuring results,pretreatment was performed before measurement.In this paper,mineral phase,elemental composition and size distribution were analysed by means of XRD,XRF and laser particle size analyzer respectively.The results of XRD showed that quartz,muscovite,calcite and albite were found in PM2.5,dustfall and soil,while dolomite was tested only in dustfall.Clinochlore was existed in both PM2.5 and soil.From the XRF,elemental compositon of three samples were focused in Na,Si,Al,S,Ca,Fe,Mg,K.Based on the grain size analysis,dust fall put out to be roase,and size distribution mainly lied among 1-40μm.
