An Application of B2MML in Computer Integrated Manufacturing Systems
As the number of field devices in manufacturing systems grows and the system functions require more intelligence,the role of CIM (Computer Integrated Manufacturing) become critical.A tool was developed based on international industrial standard ANSI/ISA-95 and Business to Manufacturing Mark-up Language (B2MML).The aim of the tool is to enable automatic integration in a production system.This paper demonstrates an application of B2MML for modelling of a production line.In addition ISA-95 tool allows extending the approach to other production systems.
