A Case Study on Hydraulic Model Setup and Calibration of Water Distribution System in A City of North China
Taking W-zone in a city of North China as an example to which setup hydraulic model.Using GIS data to establish water distribution network topology.According to the nearest pipe method and unit line method, the flow of the pipe network node is distributed.Using genetic algorithm to calibrate C-factor.According to hydraulic calculation and the results, the monitoring value and simulation value of water distribution network node pressure are within 3 meters, the monitoring value and simulation value of pipeline flow are within 5%.Results show that the genetic algorithm calibration is applicable to solve the complicated and enormous water distribution system.
