Application of Deep Pit in Horizontal Directional Drilling Crossing Design of Retaining and Protecting for Pit Excavation with Depth of 19m under Coarse Sand and its Construction

　　When the length of crossing is limited,two times of directional drilling crossing will be adopted.To excavate pit for connection of pipes can be yet regarded as a good solution in case that there are two times of directional drilling crossing.This paper is going to talk about the crossing of Weihe River in the second West-to-East project and introduce the design of retaining and protecting for pit excavation with depth of 19m under coarse sand as well as its construction,which provide reference and knowledge to apply pit to directional drilling crossing project as connection.
