Study of Induced Polarization Abnormal Localization by Fixed Point Source Sounding
The interpretation method of the arc intersection and relative intensity method was as an efficient way to process the sounding data of the fixed point source (FPS) sounding device,and the apparent polarizability normalized relative intensity (APNRI) center can be indicated the anomaly body.By using finite element method,the automatically processing procedures were designed,and many typical models were studied,the results show that the background resistivity were little effect on the position of the APNRI center;the number of sounding point and the distribution of sounding points has little effected on the APNRI center,but contour shape of the APNRI map will be inclined to the side of a large number of sounding points;and for multi geological bodies model,using this method would be produce false abnormal.In this paper,the false abnormal formation mechanism was studied in detail;by using anomaly separation and image overlaying technology,a simple method to eliminate false abnormal was proposed.
