Present Study and Prospect of Radio Penetration Data Processing Technology
This paper introduced several data processing methods of radio penetration exploration in China,like comprehensive curve method,attenuation coefficient tomographic imaging method(absolute attenuation tomographic imaging,relative attenuation tomographic imaging,statistical method and value clustering method).The principle of comprehensive method is simple,but the abnormal point of the comprehensive curve may not be distinguished clearly because of the distraction of complex geological structure and interference factors which lead to hard interpretation.Attenuation coefficient tomographic imaging is the the most commonly used data processing method of radio wave penetration.It divides the imaging regional to grids and calculates the attenuation coefficient of the grid nodes,it uses the ART or SIRT algorithm 1-2 for inversion imaging and gets the intuitive absorption coefficient equivalence value maps and chromatogram.Attenuation coefficient tomographic imaging is based on the intensity attenuation of the electromagnetic wave signal,but the frequency information of the singal is ignored.In recent years,many scientists have studied the frequency and the phase composition of the signal.The centroid frequency downshift method and phase imaging method appeared.In comparison with other methods for estimating EM attenuation,the centroid frequency downshift method is relatively insensitive to the effects of geometric spreading,instrument response and antenna coupling and radiation pattern3.Phase tomographic imaging inversion results are more reliable and accurate than attenuation coefficient tomographic inversion results in target body geometry shape4.
