Numerical Evaluation of the Electrical Spectra of a Mixture with Ellipsoid Inc
Lots of experiments showed that the effective conductivity and dielectric constant of some rocks vary with the measuring frequencies evidently.Numerically,some rocks can be considered as a composite media with a periodic structure.To simulate the frequency dispersion of the electrical parameters of periodic composite media,a three-dimensional finite difference method (3D-FDM) is developed to compute the effective dielectric constant and conductivity of models of composite media.The simulations of a mixture with ellipsoid inclusions showed that the orientation and aspect ratio of inclusions could affect the electrical spectra significantly.
